Penn Running Club took the long drive down to Charlottesville, VA to attend NIRCA's Mid-Atlantic Regionals Championships, co-hosted this year by UVA on James Monroe's historic estate, Ash-Lawn Highland. The anticipated rain and wind held off until after race time, leaving runners with only each other and a hilly course to contend with. At the end of the morning, PRC women placed an impressive 3rd/13 teams (only 6 points behind 2nd and 11 points behind 1st!), with Janine Lins, Liz Novack, and Catherine Campbell placing in the top 10 (out of 176 total runners)! The men's team placed right in the middle in 8th/16, with top 10 times (from a field of 232 runners) from Nate Ennist and Geraint Davies! You can see the full results here.
